Although we are only just into Spring 2024, next year’s important anniversary which commemorates the 80th year since Japanese military forces surrendered in the Far-East, will soon be upon us.
As reported in the last edition of the newsletter, Lichfield Cathedral is already booked for the service which will take place over the weekend of Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th August, 2025.
Plans are already underway for a significant event, and if all goes well, we will aim to match in a similar fashion, the very successful event of 2020 when we marked VJ75. A number of members have already signed up for attendance, so if you would wish to join us, please register your name(s) early by emailing Chris Wills at chriswills5071@gmail.com.
