Leighanne McKinlay-Wilkins, whose grandfather and great uncle both survived the tragic sinking of the Lisbon Maru, has extended an invitation to COFEPOW members to provide them with photographs of their loved ones’ graves or memorials in the area.
Recognising the deep significance of these memorials, they are willing to take photographs on behalf of those who cannot make the journey themselves. The offer has been shared following their recent involvement in the Lisbon Maru Facebook group after seeing the film about the event in London.
