Sharon Morris-Mee, a newly appointed COFEPOW Trustee, attended the service yesterday at the NMA on behalf of COFEPOW.
Sharon commented “it was, as you can imagine, a rather unusual experience but none the less, it was handled well. Due to the restrictions, I was the only person at the FEPOW memorial, and fortunately, was able to enlist an NMA volunteer to take a couple of photographs.
I wish to pay special thanks to Chris Wills and David Sartin for enabling me to visit the site. I was particularly fortunate that Dave provided me with his parking pass, as he was unable to attend.”
